Robbery Crew Member Sentenced to 70 Months in Prison

In a shocking turn of events, Anthony Green, a member of a notorious robbery crew, was sentenced to 70 months in prison for his involvement in 11 commercial robberies and numerous street robberies in New York.

Green, along with his co-defendants Lennox Josephs and Cameron Green, terrorized the streets of New York, committing robberies at gas stations, convenience stores, and targeting individuals engaged in commercial activity. The crew’s reign of terror lasted from August 12, 2015, to September 3, 2015.

During one of the robberies, Green personally assaulted a 61-year-old victim, throwing them to the floor and beating them. He was arrested in the midst of attempting to commit a fourth robbery in Pleasantville, New York, on September 3, 2015.

Green pleaded guilty to the charges on February 26, 2016, before U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams. His co-defendants, Cameron Green and Lennox Josephs, also pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 78 months in prison each.
