Two men, formerly of Hyannis, Massachusetts, were sentenced in federal court in Boston for their roles in a heroin trafficking operation on Cape Cod.
Anthony Hall, 31, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Patti B. Saris to 30 months in prison and three years of supervised release for his role in a heroin trafficking operation on Cape Cod.
Hall pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in January 2017.
Richard Serriello, 29, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Mark L. Wolf to 30 months in prison and five years of supervised release during which time he is forbidden from living on Cape Cod for his role in the heroin trafficking operation.
Serriello pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in September 2016.
The investigation revealed that Serriello purchased large quantities of heroin from Denzel Chisholm, the leader of the Nauti-Block, and in May 2015, Serriello was arrested after a high-speed motorcycle pursuit, during which police officers recovered nearly 400 grams of heroin from Serriello’s motorbike.
Hall stored heroin for co-conspirators Christopher Wilkins and Chisholm and also sold heroin to his own customers, including a customer from Martha’s Vineyard. Investigators ultimately seized heroin from this customer, which led, in part, to Hall’s arrest.
