Bryan Kendall Pittsinger, a 39-year-old man from Arlington, Texas, has been sentenced to the maximum 30 years in federal prison for producing child pornography, according to a recent conviction.
Pittsinger was found guilty in March 2016 of one count of production of child pornography. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Terry R. Means in Fort Worth, Texas.
According to court documents, between January and April 2014, Pittsinger used a minor female, identified as MV1, to engage in sexually explicit conduct that he photographed at his Arlington residence.
MV1 was approximately six years old at the time of the abuse.
In August 2014, officers with the Arlington Police Department executed a search warrant at Pittsinger’s residence and seized numerous pieces of digital media, including computers, flash drives, CD/DVDs, mobile phones, and cameras.
Sexually explicit images of MV1 were located on his computer during the search.
This case marks a milestone in the fight against child exploitation, as it is a part of the Project Safe Childhood initiative, launched in May 2006 to combat technology-facilitated crimes against children.
Since its inception, the initiative has led to the prosecution of over 20,260 cases, including child sex trafficking, sexual abuse of a minor or ward, and child pornography offenses.
