McAlester Man Found Guilty of Illegally Possessing Ammunition

Arlo Christopher Jordan, a 26-year-old resident of McAlester, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to a serious crime. On January 11, 2024, Jordan knowingly possessed two rounds of Hornady-branded 270 ammunition after being previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year in prison.

Jordan’s guilty plea stems from an investigation by the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The Honorable Jason L. Robertson, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.

Jordan was remanded into the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.

Arlo Christopher Jordan, 26, of McAlester, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to an Information of one count of Felon in Possession of Ammunition, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(8). The charges arose from an investigation by the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The exact date of the crime is January 11, 2024. Jordan is currently in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.

In accordance with the plea, Jordan will face the consequences of his crime. The outcome of the case has not yet been determined, as sentencing has not yet occurred.
