Ashley Clark Ingram, 35, of Columbia, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for her role in the theft of government funds from Habitat for Humanity of Central South Carolina.

United States District Judge Mary Geiger Lewis sentenced Ingram to 24 months imprisonment, to be followed by a two-year term of court-ordered supervision. As part of her sentencing, Ingram was ordered to pay a remaining balance of $30,165.47 in restitution to Habitat, which she rendered today.

Additionally, Ingram was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and a $100 special assessment fee, bringing the total amount she must pay to over $540,000.

The case was investigated by the FBI Columbia Field Office, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Matthews prosecuting the case.
