Sioux Falls Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Involvement in Meth Conspiracy

A 10-year sentence was handed down to Ashton Aman, a 37-year-old Sioux Falls resident, for his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy. According to court records, Aman was convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

The conviction stems from Aman’s involvement in a large-scale methamphetamine distribution operation. During the period of February 2, 2021, Aman and his co-conspirators distributed over 500 grams of methamphetamine in the District of South Dakota and elsewhere. Aman was found to have knowingly and intentionally combined, conspired, confederated, and agreed together with others to distribute the controlled substance.
