A 41-year-old Eau Claire man, Jason Bloedow, was busted in April 2025 for peddling 28 pounds of crystal meth in Wisconsin. When police pulled him over on his way back from Minnesota, they found 881 grams of the deadly stuff in his car.
It’s a small miracle he didn’t kill anyone. Bloedow made a cool $48,000 in just three months. He’s just one of many, but this Wisconsin meth kingpin got what was coming to him – 10 years in the slammer.
The evidence against Bloedow was overwhelming. He admitted to selling the deadly stuff to a confidential informant in March and April of last year. West Central Drug Task Force, Dunn County and Chippewa County Sheriff’s Offices, and the DEA all worked together to bring him down.
Bloedow’s guilty plea in January came after his sentencing hearing, where Judge William M. Conley highlighted the defendant’s extensive rap sheet and escalating crime spree. Conley noted that Bloedow’s age didn’t seem to have slowed him down.
