Omaha Man Sentenced for Wire Fraud Scam

A 29-year-old man from Omaha, Nebraska, has been sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment for wire fraud. According to court documents, Blake D. Colson, a manager for Frontier Justice Omaha (FJO), used his position to create phony gift cards, which he then used to obtain 17 firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories.

The scheme came to light after FJO’s internal review of its firearm transaction records revealed the fraud. When confronted, Colson admitted to the scheme and cooperated in the return of stolen items, nearly all of which were recovered.
