Bo Bryan Fish, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Montana 2020

Billings, MT – In a major blow to the illicit drug trade, 40-year-old Bo Bryan Fish of Worden, Montana has been sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison for trafficking methamphetamine, according to a recent press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Fish was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine after investigators discovered 10 pounds of the highly addictive and highly sought-after drug in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

The investigation, led by the Eastern Montana High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and the FBI Western Transnational Organized Crime Task Force, revealed that Fish had been traveling to Colorado to acquire bulk quantities of meth, ranging from five to 20 pounds per trip, over an eight-month period. During his trips, Fish allegedly met with sources to purchase the drug.

On March 2020, investigators served a search warrant on Fish’s property and seized 10 pounds of meth from his vehicle and about seven ounces of meth from his property. It is estimated that the 10 pounds of meth seized is equivalent to approximately 36,240 doses.

Fish pleaded guilty to the charges on January 27 and was subsequently sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in prison. He will also serve an additional five years of supervised release following his release from prison.

The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a U.S. initiative aimed at reducing violent crime by focusing on violent crime driven by methamphetamine trafficking, armed robbers, firearms offenses, and violent offenders with outstanding warrants.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office praises the efforts of the Eastern Montana High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and the FBI Western Transnational Organized Crime Task Force for their tireless work in bringing Fish to justice and removing him from the streets.
