BRIAN GENE TWO-BABIES, a 39-year-old man from Moore, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 121 months in federal prison for his role in an armed carjacking incident in Oklahoma City. On December 15, 2023, TWO-BABIES approached a vehicle in Oklahoma City armed with a pistol, attempted to open a locked car door, and threatened the driver multiple times before discharging the firearm into the air.
According to court documents, TWO-BABIES demanded the victim’s phone, keys, and wallet, and then pointed his firearm at the victim, threatening to take their life. The victim handed over their belongings, and TWO-BABIES drove away in their car. The next morning, Oklahoma City Police officers arrested TWO-BABIES while he was still in the victim’s car.
On April 22, 2024, TWO-BABIES pleaded guilty to the Superseding Information, admitting to taking the car by force while armed, with the intent to cause ‘serious bodily harm’. U.S. district Judge Bernard M. Jones handed down the sentence on August 28, 2024, noting the serious and senseless nature of the offense.
The investigation into the armed carjacking was a collaborative effort between the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Stan J. West prosecuted the case.
This case is part of ‘Operation Shots Fired’, a nationwide initiative targeting individuals who discharge firearms as part of their criminal activity. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma is committed to keeping communities safe and bringing perpetrators to justice.
