Bryan Krynicki, Attempted Enticement and Coercion of a Minor, New York 2022

A 58-year-old Massachusetts man has admitted to attempting to entice and coerce a minor to engage in sexual acts, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York.

Bryan Krynicki, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty on February 2, 2022 to attempting to coerce and entice a minor to engage in sexual acts, as part of a guilty plea agreement.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Krynicki admitted to exchanging over 1,000 sexually explicit messages online with an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old child between February and April 2020.

Krynicki also admitted to traveling from Massachusetts to a prearranged meeting location in Rensselaer County, New York, on April 29, 2020 with the intent to engage in sexual acts with the 14-year-old child that day.

As part of his plea agreement, Krynicki agreed to be sentenced to 120 months in prison by United States District Judge Mae A. D’Agostino on March 2, 2022.

The case was investigated by the FBI and its Child Exploitation Task Force, which includes members of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Rachel L. Williams as part of Project Safe Childhood, a program launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat child exploitation.
