Bryan S. Fletcher, Armed Assault, Missouri 2024

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A brazen act of violence shook the streets of Blue Springs, Mo., as a lone rival gang member was chased and forced from the road by members of the Pagan’s and their support club, the Los Valerosos.

On Sept. 17, 2022, Bryan S. Fletcher, also known as “Fletch,” 49, joined forces with twelve other members of the Pagan’s and Los Valerosos to target the rival gang member. The victim was shot seven times, with wounds to his knee, thigh, forearm, biceps, buttocks, and back of his leg.

Fletcher, an associate of the Los Valerosos at the time, confronted the victim on the side of the roadway along with several others. The group, armed with firearms and at least one axe handle, put the victim’s life in grave danger.

The FBI, Independence, Mo., Police Department, Blue Springs, Mo., Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department investigated the crime.

Bryan S. Fletcher, 49, of Kansas City, Mo., was sentenced in federal court to 84 months in federal prison without parole for assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering and possession of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that aims to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri is committed to ensuring that those who engage in violent crime are held accountable for their actions.
