Bryce Bock, Child Pornography, Iowa 2025

A Sioux City man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for his role in producing and distributing child pornography.

Bryce Bock, 32, was sentenced on September 3, 2025, after pleading guilty on April 7, 2025, to two federal charges: sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution of child pornography.

According to evidence presented in court, Bock used and coerced a minor under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct between July 1, 2022, and July 2, 2024.

Bock also admitted to using the Anonymous Chat app to receive and send images of child pornography, which included images of toddlers and sadistic and masochistic conduct.

A forensic review of Bock’s phone found that he possessed 24 images of child sexual abuse material, including images of a known minor victim.

Bock was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Leonard T. Strand to 240 months’ imprisonment and was ordered to pay $1,200 in fines and assessments. He must also serve a 5-year term of supervised release after the prison term.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The case was investigated by the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kraig R. Hamit. Bock is currently being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
