BOISE – In a shocking turn of events, 30-year-old Michael Kulikoff and 57-year-old Kenneth Miller, both of California City, California, have been found guilty of their involvement in a major oxycodone ring.
According to reports, Kulikoff and Miller were part of a group that sold their prescriptions of oxycodone to an accomplice, which ultimately led to the distribution of between 500 and 1750 30mg pills of oxycodone to a confidential informant and an undercover officer in Idaho.
Their accomplices, 41-year-old Diane Miller and 43-year-old Crystal Clark, had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and hydromorphone. Diane Miller was sentenced on January 15, 2016, to 15 months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release.
The charge of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and hydromorphone is punishable by not more than twenty years in prison, a maximum fine of $1,000,000, and at least three years of supervised release.
Sentencing for Clark is set for April 4, 2016, before Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill at the federal courthouse in Boise. Judge Winmill will sentence Kenneth Miller and Michael Kulikoff on May 5, 2016.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Boise Police Department as an Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation, which is comprised of law enforcement personnel from various agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation, and U.S. Marshals Service.
