CANTON, OH – Marshall Belden, Jr., 69, of Canton, is facing federal charges following an indictment unsealed today, accusing him of possessing and distributing abhorrent material exploiting children. The indictment, handed down by a federal grand jury, details a disturbing pattern of online activity that law enforcement says crossed state and international lines.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, Belden allegedly received and distributed numerous computer files containing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct on October 24, 2016.
