Robert Lee Catron, Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Oklahoma 2024

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Robert Lee Catron and Jenny Marie Locust are facing decades in federal prison for a string of heinous sexual offenses committed against minors on the Cherokee Nation Reservation.

36-year-old Catron was sentenced to 30 years for Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Minor, while his partner, 39-year-old Locust, received a 10-year sentence for Enticement and Coercion of a Minor. Both were involved in Adair County on the reservation.

Investigations revealed Catron sexually assaulted a child under 12 between 2020 and 2022, while Locust used her phone to entice a minor into sexual activity with Catron during 2021-2022. The crimes have sent shockwaves through the local community.

Court records show both were sentenced to register as sex offenders upon their release. The investigation was led by the FBI and Westville Police Department, reflecting a collaborative effort that Acting Special Agent in Charge Jason Kaplan called ‘extremely grateful for.’

U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Wilson condemned the acts, stating there can be no tolerance for those who prey on children. The sentences handed down were intended to send a strong message to child predators.

The Honorable Ronald A. White presided over the hearings, and Catron and Locust will serve their sentences without parole in designated federal facilities. Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicole Paladino represented the prosecution.
