Charles Henry Crocker, Possessing Child Pornography, Maryland 2024

Charles Henry Crocker, a 45-year-old man from Phoenix, Maryland, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 25 years of supervised release for possessing child pornography. This sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett in Baltimore.

Crocker was found to have possessed between 300 and 600 images of child pornography, including videos involving prepubescent females. The images were discovered on a laptop, desktop computer, and external hard drives seized by Baltimore County Police officers during a search of Crocker’s residence on May 1, 2015.

Crocker had previously been convicted of possession of child pornography in federal court in Florida on July 18, 2003, and was sentenced to 27 months in prison with a requirement to register as a sex offender.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein commended the HSI Baltimore, Baltimore County Police Department, FBI, and Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office for their work in the investigation.
