After making a U-turn at 3rd and K Street NE to get away from the vehicle, the driver was stopped at a red light when Price walked up to his vehicle and pointed a gun at his head.

The victim, who was delivering an UberEATS order at the time, was left fearing for his life. The incident has left many wondering how such a violent act could occur in the nation’s capital. The case has sparked concerns about public safety and the need for stricter gun laws.

The investigation into the incident was led by the Metropolitan Police Department, and Assistant United States Attorneys Shaniqua Butler and Kraig Ahalt are prosecuting the case. The Honorable Errol Arthur has scheduled sentencing for September 12, 2024. Price faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison.
