Christopher Creamer, a 40-year-old man from Urbana, Ohio, pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography after a shocking FBI sting operation. From June to August 2025, Creamer sent two images and 16 videos of child pornography to an FBI agent, who he believed was a Telegram user. The disturbing communications also revealed Creamer’s interest in the sexual abuse of children. The FBI’s investigation led to a search of Creamer’s electronic devices, uncovering over 3,000 images and 130 videos depicting child pornography, including horrific images of infants and toddlers being abused.
The guilty plea comes after Creamer was arrested and charged in March 2026. As part of the plea agreement, Creamer faces a recommended sentence of between 60 and 210 months in prison. The sentencing will be determined by the Court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors at a future hearing.
The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. The project aims to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the internet and identify and rescue victims.
Creamer’s guilty plea is a result of the collaborative efforts of the United States Attorney’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Cincinnati Division. The United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, Dominick S. Gerace II, and the Special Agent in Charge, Jason Cromartie, announced the guilty plea entered before Senior U.S. District Judge Thomas M. Rose.
