Clearfield Resident Charged with Violating Federal Firearms and Narcotics Laws

PITTSBURGH, PA – Christian Graham, a 23-year-old resident of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of violating federal firearms and narcotics laws, United States Attorney Cindy K. Chung announced today.

According to the Indictment, on or about January 26, 2022, Graham possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine and quantities of cocaine and fentanyl. Also on January 26, 2022, Graham possessed a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possessed a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon. Possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon is prohibited under federal law.

The three-count Indictment names Christian Graham as the sole defendant, with charges of:

  • Posessing with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine and quantities of cocaine and fentanyl.
  • Possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
  • Possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.

The law provides for a sentence of not more than 30 years in prison, a fine of $8,000,000 or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan D. Lusty is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government. The Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation leading to the Indictment in this case.

Graham’s case is currently pending in federal court. If convicted, he faces a sentence of up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $8,000,000.
