In a shocking case of brazen daylight robbery, Christian Tafolla, 26, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, has admitted to stealing thousands of dollars from a local Wells Fargo Bank branch.

According to court documents, Tafolla handed a bank teller a note demanding money on March 18, 2016, at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 8100 Wyoming Blvd. in Albuquerque. The teller, fearing for their safety, complied with Tafolla’s demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Tafolla was arrested later that day, March 18, 2016, after Albuquerque Police Department officers observed him entering a store near the Wells Fargo Bank. He was subsequently charged by criminal complaint with robbing the bank.
