Christopher G. Lee, a 67-year-old resident of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 216 months (18 years) in federal prison for production, receipt, and possession of child pornography as well as obstruction of justice.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Lee was convicted by a jury in March 2016 for producing and receiving child pornography after approximately two hours of deliberation. The jury of six men and six women also convicted Lee of possessing images of child pornography, including images of prepubescent children under the age of 12 years old.
The investigation, conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the State College Police Department, uncovered a disturbing pattern of behavior by Lee, who attempted to have his cousin assist him in having his cellular telephone that was in the custody of the FBI “wiped remotely” in multiple recorded phone calls.
