Child Pornography Scandal Rocks Mercer County
TRENTON, N.J. – In a shocking turn of events, Christopher Walsh, a 31-year-old school bus driver from Yardville, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography. According to court documents, Walsh’s email account sent or received a total of 1,590 files containing child pornography between June 15, 2014, and January 10, 2016.
On August 2, 2015, Walsh knowingly emailed a video depicting child sexual abuse to another individual. This disturbing revelation has left the community reeling and raises serious questions about the safety of our children.
Walsh faces a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison, a minimum penalty of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and up to a lifetime of supervised release. The court’s decision will be a crucial step in bringing justice to the victims of this heinous crime.
