William John Clark, a 62-year-old man from Buckhannon, West Virginia, has admitted to a serious firearms charge, according to U.S. Attorney Bill Powell. Clark pled guilty to one count of “Making a Destructive Device”, a crime that carries severe penalties.
According to the plea agreement, Clark made an explosive bomb in March 2020 in Upshur County, which was not registered as required by law. The bomb was a serious threat to public safety, and Clark’s actions were a clear violation of federal firearms laws.
Clark now faces up to 10 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $10,000.
