Clayton D. Dudley, a 31-year-old resident of Allentown, Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty to a charge of violating federal narcotics laws in connection with the distribution of heroin.
On May 30, 2017, Dudley distributed less than 100 grams of heroin, according to the indictment.
Dudley entered his guilty plea before United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson in federal court in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
The Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Cambria County Drug Task Force, conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Dudley.
Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie L. Haines is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
According to the law, the maximum sentence for Dudley’s crime is 20 years in prison and a fine of $1,000,000 or both.
Judge Gibson has scheduled sentencing for October 31, 2018, at 1:00 p.m.
