Tory Bryant, Heroin and Fentanyl Distribution, Pennsylvania 2018

A 31-year-old East Hills man has been charged with distributing heroin and fentanyl in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to a federal indictment.

Tory Bryant, 31, was named as the sole defendant in a one-count indictment, which was announced by United States Attorney Scott W. Brady.

According to the indictment, on March 13, 2018, Bryant possessed with the intent to distribute a quantity of heroin, a Schedule I controlled substance, a quantity of fentanyl, a Schedule II controlled substance, and a quantity of crack cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance.

The law provides for a maximum total sentence of not more than 30 years in prison, a fine not to exceed $2,000,000, or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offense and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

Assistant United States Attorney Brendan T. Conway is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Wilkinsburg Police Department conducted the investigation leading to the indictment in this case.

An indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Tory Bryant, who resides in the East Hills area of Pittsburgh, faces serious charges and a possible lengthy prison sentence if convicted.
