Luis Sastre Pagan, a 37-year-old Southbridge man, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine in Central Massachusetts. The plea was entered on June 11, 2026, in federal court in Worcester. Pagan’s role in the conspiracy involved directing co-conspirators and participating in the shipment of kilograms of cocaine from Puerto Rico into Central Massachusetts between April 2023 and April 2024.
The investigation, which began in 2023, led to the seizure of four packages containing cocaine, attributing 15-50 kilograms of the drug to Pagan’s participation in the conspiracy. Pagan was charged in November 2024, along with co-conspirators Eric Rivera and Miguel Lopez.
Rivera pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine in August 2025 and was sentenced to five years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Lopez was sentenced to six years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, in April 2026.
Pagan faces up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $1 million. Sentencing is scheduled for September 15, 2026, in U.S. District Court.
