A Portland man, Chase Kane, 30, has been sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison for his role in a California-Maine cocaine trafficking conspiracy. Kane pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025, and was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Portland. The conspiracy involved receiving large quantities of cocaine via mail from California and distributing it to customers in eastern Maine.
Kane and his associates made trips to California and Mexico to meet with suppliers and co-conspirators, and possessed multiple firearms during the drug conspiracy.
