A 73-year-old Clinton man, Keith Page, has pleaded guilty to producing and receiving child pornography, as well as enticing a minor, in a federal court in Bangor, Maine. According to court records, Page was sending money to several individuals under the age of 18, likely in exchange for explicit images. One of the accounts belonged to a 15-year-old girl from New Orleans, who admitted to sending Page explicit photos in exchange for money. Page knew the girl was underage, but continued to exploit her anyway.
Page’s crimes were uncovered when law enforcement received a tip about his suspicious transactions on Venmo and PayPal. Investigators contacted the minor, who revealed the disturbing details of her interactions with Page. During an interview, Page admitted to knowing the girl’s age, but showed no remorse for his actions.
Page now faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in prison for producing child pornography, as well as additional time for receiving child porn and enticing a minor. He also faces a maximum fine of $250,000 and a lifetime of supervised release. The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit – Special Victims.
