Michael Gallo, a 33-year-old Cranston, Rhode Island man, has been charged with a slew of heinous crimes involving minors, including production and receipt of child sex abuse material and enticement of minors to engage in sexual activity. The alleged crimes occurred between June 2025 and March 2026, with Gallo using online platforms to target multiple minors. The investigation, led by Homeland Security Investigations and the Rhode Island Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, uncovered evidence of Gallo’s alleged travel from Rhode Island to Massachusetts to engage in illicit conduct with a minor.
According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, Gallo’s alleged conduct involved three minor victims, with separate periods of alleged abuse. The complaint charges Gallo with two counts of production of child sex abuse material, three counts of enticement of a minor, one count of interstate travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct, and one count of receipt of child sex abuse material.
Gallo was taken into custody and is currently being held pending further court proceedings. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lee Vilker, with assistance from law enforcement partners including the Somerset, Massachusetts Police Department.
