A 30-year-old man was gunned down in broad daylight on a busy Bronx street in March 2021. Alieu Jarjou, a Crips gang member, pulled the trigger, allegedly to avenge a suspected assault on a fellow gang member.
Jarjou, aka ‘Scally,’ shot and killed Jadon Robinson outside 1268 Morrison Avenue in the Bronx. The brutal murder was part of a larger scheme by the Rollin 20s Crips to fund the gang and protect its territory through violence and narcotics trafficking.
Jarjou’s plea deal marks a rare victory for law enforcement in the ongoing battle against gang violence. The Southern District of New York’s U.S. Attorney’s Office has made it clear that it will pursue all gangs that threaten the safety of New Yorkers.
