NEW ORLEANS – Cynthia Bowley, a 67-year-old resident of Meraux, Louisiana, has been charged with aiding and assisting in the filing of false tax returns. According to an indictment filed on August 26, 2022, Bowley allegedly assisted in preparing a false tax return for a taxpayer in June 2017.
