Fort Myers, FL – In a shocking turn of events, Daniel Juarez, a 39-year-old Hardee County man, has been sentenced to 21 years and 10 months in federal prison for his role in a massive methamphetamine distribution ring.
According to court documents, Juarez was found guilty on September 29, 2025, after a stipulated facts bench trial. This conviction marks the culmination of a lengthy investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) into Juarez’s activities.
Prosecutors alleged that on March 15, 2024, Juarez sold a pound and a half of methamphetamine to an undercover DEA agent. This sale is believed to be just one of many illicit transactions carried out by Juarez as part of his methamphetamine distribution operation.
Juarez’s troubles with the law did not begin with this case. In 2020, he was convicted of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell in Hardee County Circuit Court.
The severe sentence handed down to Juarez serves as a stark reminder of the gravity of methamphetamine distribution and the consequences that come with it. As one law enforcement official noted, ‘methamphetamine is a scourge on our communities, and we will continue to work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice.’
Juarez’s case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mark Morgan, who praised the DEA for their tireless efforts in uncovering Juarez’s illicit activities.
