St. Louis Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Fentanyl Trafficking

A federal court in Missouri has sentenced Daniel Paulino, 35, of St. Louis, to 15 years in prison for his role in a large-scale fentanyl trafficking operation.

According to court documents, Daniel Paulino was arrested in April 2025 and charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, a highly addictive and deadly synthetic opioid.

The investigation, led by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), revealed that Daniel Paulino was part of a network that distributed large quantities of fentanyl to cities across the country.

During the trial, prosecutors presented evidence that Daniel Paulino had been involved in the trafficking operation for several years, using encrypted communication platforms and secret online marketplaces to facilitate the transactions.

The jury found Daniel Paulino guilty of all charges in December 2025, and he was sentenced to 15 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey on January 10, 2026.
