Rochester Man Sentenced to 27 Years in Prison for Soliciting Images and Videos from a 15-Year-Old

Rochester, NY – In a shocking case of child exploitation, 33-year-old Daryll Clark, a registered sex offender, was sentenced to serve 324 months in prison for receipt of child pornography.

According to the Grimy Times investigation, Clark met a 15-year-old girl in an online chat room where he claimed to be 24 years old. Between March 15 and May 2, 2020, Clark solicited and directed the girl to create sexually explicit images and videos.

Assistant U.S. Attorney John J. Field stated that after producing the images and videos, the minor victim sent them to Clark via cell phone from Missouri to New York State. During this time, Clark was under the supervision of New York State Parole.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Stephen Belongia.

Daryll Clark, 33, of Rochester, NY, was convicted of receipt of child pornography and sentenced to serve 324 months in prison, which is equivalent to 27 years.
