Lisbon Man Indicted for Child Pornography Crimes
David Grunden, 34, of Lisbon, Ohio, has been charged with a series of child pornography crimes.
According to the indictment, Grunden received numerous images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct between 2014 and 2017. He also possessed a computer with child pornography on October 30, 2018, and solicited adults to be recorded having sex with children from January 11 through June 3, 2018.
The indictment includes one count each of receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and advertising child pornography.
Grunden’s case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian Deckert following an investigation by the FBI, the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation.
An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. The defendant is entitled to a fair trial in which it will be the government’s burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
Grunden’s charges are a serious concern for law enforcement and the community. Child pornography is a heinous crime that can have devastating effects on its victims.
As the investigation continues, the community remains vigilant and committed to holding those responsible accountable for their actions.
