Ardmore, Oklahoma – On April 9, 2022, David Lawrence Hudson, 67, unleashed a vicious attack on a victim in Carter County, within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation.
According to investigators, Hudson struck the victim in the head with a wooden club, intending to cause bodily harm. The assault left the victim shaken, and Hudson’s actions sparked a thorough investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Ardmore Police Department, and the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police.
The case was a complex one, involving multiple agencies working together to bring Hudson to justice. On February 7, 2023, Hudson pleaded guilty to one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Cause Bodily Harm in Indian Country.
