De’Corlion Keshaun Robinson, Machinegun Possession, Alabama 2025

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A Jefferson County man has been charged with illegally possessing a machinegun, announced U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona.

De’Corlion Keshaun Robinson, 24, of Bessemer, Alabama, is accused of possessing a machinegun. The 24-year-old was seen with a Glock 10mm pistol equipped with a machinegun conversion device on August 13, 2025.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) investigated the case, alongside the Birmingham Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel S. McBrayer is prosecuting the case.

An indictment contains only charges. Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Robinson is charged with one count of possession of a machinegun. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

According to the indictment, Robinson illegally possessed a machinegun on August 13, 2025. The indictment alleges that Robinson had a Glock 10mm pistol equipped with a machinegun conversion device.

The case is a reminder of the serious consequences of possessing a machinegun without proper authorization. Our community deserves to be protected from the dangers of unregulated firearms.

Robinson is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court for arraignment. Further information will be released as the case progresses.
