BILLINGS — In a shocking turn of events, 23-year-old Dejon Anthony Duncan of Billings, Montana has been charged with cocaine possession, a misdemeanor. The arrest comes after a lengthy investigation into a major drug trafficking ring in the Billings area.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s office, Duncan pleaded guilty to a superseding information charging him with possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor. This admission may lead to a maximum of one year in prison, a mandatory minimum $1,000 fine to a maximum $100,000 fine, and one year of supervised release.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy J. Cavan presided over the hearing and set sentencing for April 19. Duncan was detained pending further proceedings, indicating that his involvement in the drug trafficking ring is being closely monitored.
