A Davenport, Iowa man has been sentenced to 300 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.
Derrick Christopher Johnson, 50, of Lakeview Terrace, California, was sentenced on April 10, 2017, by United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger.
According to court documents, Johnson regularly drove quantities of methamphetamine from California to Iowa.
The investigation, conducted by the Quad City Metropolitan Enforcement Group and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, revealed that Johnson distributed over 4.5 kilograms of methamphetamine.
Johnson was also ordered to serve seven years of supervised release following his imprisonment and to pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.
The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
