In a shocking revelation, the Treasury Department has launched an investigation into the mysterious ‘Underground WRY’ of the diamond trade. The probe, which promises to span the continent, began last week with the appointment of a probate to examine the work of one George W. Mlndill, one of the two examiners of the previous administration. Burtois Parker, head of the special agent force at Washington, traveled to New York a week ago to investigate the office of Mlndill and returned yesterday, completing his mission.
