Dustan Setner, Child Pornography, Illinois 2018

A Chicago suburban man has been charged with sharing images of child pornography, according to federal authorities.

Dustan Setner, 42, of Rosemont, Illinois, is accused of sharing a photograph and two videos of child pornography in 2016 and 2017, the indictment states.

The photograph was entitled, in part, ‘9yo in nylons and collar,’ while one of the video files was entitled ‘Baby,’ according to the indictment.

Setner allegedly possessed the child pornography on his desktop computer and an external hard drive.

The indictment was returned Thursday in federal court in Chicago. Arraignment is set for Aug. 27, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sheila M. Finnegan.

The government is represented by Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron R. Bond. The Forest Park Police Department provided valuable assistance.

Each count of transporting child pornography is punishable by a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years, while the possession charge carries a maximum sentence of ten years.

The public is reminded that charges are not evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent and entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
