Dwayne Stinson, Child Pornography, Virginia 2011

Alexandria, VA – A Manassas man has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.

Dwayne Stinson, 53, used an electronic payment service to pay women in the Philippines to sexually abuse children as young as six years old while he directed the abuse and produced numerous images of the abuse.

According to court documents, Stinson perpetrated this heinous crime between October 2011 and February 2012.

Stinson admitted to contemporaneously producing numerous screenshot images of the abuse and storing them on his computer.

The Prince William County Police Department and Northern Virginia/District of Columbia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (NOVA/DC ICAC) assisted in the investigation.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the federal government.

Stinson is expected to be sentenced on August 24 and faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison.
