⏱ 2 min read

Henry Baker, a 30-year-old Winter Park resident, has been sentenced to 14 years and 8 months in federal prison for his role in a large-scale fentanyl trafficking operation in Central Florida. Baker pleaded guilty on January 6, 2026, to conspiring to distribute fentanyl, distributing and possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl, possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The operation, which involved Baker and his grandfather, Arthur Bradshaw, distributed fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and bromazolam in Central Florida, with undercover agents purchasing 9,000 counterfeit fentanyl-laced pills from the duo.

The investigation, led by the DEA, took place over the summer of 2024, with controlled purchases in Winter Park, Sanford, and Casselberry. A federal search warrant executed on September 24, 2024, at the Winter Park apartment shared by Baker and Bradshaw, resulted in the seizure of 1,069 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of fentanyl, 85 grams of cocaine, and 803 grams of bromazolam. Baker and Bradshaw were arrested by DEA agents as they were leaving the apartment, marking the end of their trafficking operation.

The case against Arthur Bradshaw remains pending, but Baker’s sentence serves as a significant blow to the drug trafficking organization. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the DEA, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kaley Austin-Aronson.

The sentencing of Henry Baker to over 14 years in federal prison highlights the severity of the fentanyl epidemic in Central Florida and the dedication of law enforcement agencies to combating it. As the case against Arthur Bradshaw continues, it is clear that the authorities will stop at nothing to dismantle drug trafficking operations and bring those responsible to justice.
