Frederick Dechristoforo, 57, Sentenced for Fentanyl Trafficking
In a shocking revelation, 57-year-old Frederick Dechristoforo from Norwell, Massachusetts pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
According to sources, Dechristoforo was first arrested in November 2022 and later indicted in December 2022. This marked the beginning of a long journey to justice, which eventually led to his guilty plea in the federal court in Boston.
The case against Dechristoforo unfolded after a search was conducted at his residence in Norwell in December 2021. During the search, several hundred counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl were recovered in the kitchen.
Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Michael J. Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England made the announcement of Dechristoforo’s guilty plea.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Benjamin Tolkoff and John Reynolds of the Criminal Division are handling the prosecution of the case.
U.S. District Court Judge Denise J. Casper has scheduled Dechristoforo’s sentencing for June 6, 2024.
