Patrick Feaster, Felon with Firearm, California 2024

FRESNO, Calif. — In a stunning turn of events, Patrick Feaster, 23, from Fresno, has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, marking a significant victory for Operation No Fly Zone.

Feaster’s arrest is a direct result of the multi-agency investigation aimed at combating the surge in shootings and homicides in Fresno. Court documents reveal that on March 16, 2022, Feaster was set to pick up a firearm and an extended magazine from a local residence. After failing to yield during a traffic stop and eluding police on foot, he was apprehended and found with a semi-automatic handgun and an extended magazine.

Scheduled for sentencing on May 30, 2023, Feaster faces up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The actual sentence will be determined by U.S. District Judge Ana de Alba, considering the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

This case is the fruit of a collaborative effort between numerous law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, ATF, Fresno Police Department, MAGEC, and more. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Justin J. Gilio and Antonio J. Pataca are leading the prosecution.

Feaster’s conviction is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a comprehensive strategy to reduce violent crime and gun violence. The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) also played a pivotal role in dismantling criminal organizations threatening U.S. safety.
