Grimy Times has learned that Gabrielle Eichert, a 32-year-old resident of Kingston, New York, has been charged with receipt and distribution of child pornography. According to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, Eichert was taken into federal custody on March 24, 2026, and presented before U.S. Magistrate Judge Judith C. McCarthy in White Plains federal court.
“The sexual exploitation of children is way too common,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. “We need to get predators off the streets and send the message: you will be caught, and you will go to prison. As alleged, Gabrielle Eichert received and distributed material that re-victimizes vulnerable children and fuels further abuse. We are committed to identifying and holding accountable those who participate in these offenses. We will use every available tool to protect children and ensure that justice is served.”
Eichert is accused of using a chat application to exchange numerous images of minors, including prepubescent minors, engaged in sexual activity with Gregory Graff, a man who was previously charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor. Graff lived and worked in the Southern District of New York since at least June 2024 and was arrested by the New York State Police on January 22, 2026.
During their exchange of messages, Graff and Eichert discussed their mutual interest in sexually explicit images of minors and discussed their efforts to obtain additional such images. Eichert admitted to exchanging messages with Graff and exchanging images of minors, including prepubescent minors, engaged in sexual activity.
Eichert is charged with one count of receipt and distribution of child pornography, which carries a minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The statutory minimum and maximum sentences in this case are prescribed by Congress and provided here for informational purposes only, as any sentencing of the defendant will be determined by the judge.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s New York Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, New York State Police Troop F – Computer Crimes Unit, New York State Police Troop F, New York State Police Troop K, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office. The prosecution is being handled by the Office’s White Plains Division, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Marcia S. Cohen and John Wynne in charge of the prosecution.
