Gail Nossavage, Wire Fraud, Pennsylvania 2025

Grimy Times has learned that Gail Nossavage, a 62-year-old woman from Harding, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for her role in a wire fraud scheme.

Nossavage was employed as an administrative assistant at a church located in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, where she managed financial matters, including monetary collections and deposits.

An investigation by the FBI revealed that Nossavage made at least 115 deposits into her own bank account that were unrelated to any legitimate funds or checks and were fraudulently obtained.

The FBI also discovered that Nossavage charged credit cards in the name of the church without the church representatives’ knowledge or permission and unlawfully compensated herself with the church’s money for personal expenses.

Further investigation revealed that much of the fraudulently obtained monies were paid by Nossavage into online gambling platforms.

Nossavage was sentenced by United States District Judge Karoline Mehalchick on December 3, 2025.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case, with Assistant United States Attorney Luisa Honora Berti prosecuting the case.

Nossavage was ordered to pay $184,724.68 in restitution and to serve a 3-year term of supervised release following her incarceration.

The case against Nossavage serves as a reminder of the importance of accountability and transparency in financial matters.
