The Trinitarios gang, also known as the “Bad Boys” or “BB7”, has been terrorizing communities in New York City, Westchester, and northern New Jersey since September 2023. The gang is responsible for five murders, multiple assaults, and armed robberies, with the most recent incident occurring in September 2025. The gang’s violent crimes were allegedly carried out by 11 defendants, including leaders, members, and associates of the BB7 set of the Trinitarios street gang. A 12th defendant, JAROL LEDESMA, was charged with Hobbs Act robbery and interstate stalking offenses in connection with the gunpoint robbery of a prominent international music artist.
The indictment is the result of a broad-based effort by the Southern District of New York (SDNY) and its federal and local partners to stop the violence and bring relief to affected communities. The investigation involved the FBI, the NYPD, the Westchester County Police Department, and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, among others.
