A 46-year-old Mexican national has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for his role in a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking operation in Omaha, NE.

German Aguilar Beltran, of Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, was sentenced on July 24, 2024, in federal court in Omaha, NE, after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

As part of his sentence, Aguilar Beltran will be deported to Mexico after completing his term of imprisonment, as he is not a United States citizen.
